We emphasize individual development & improvements in the skill areas below:

  3. Improve Team building skills.
  4. Increase analytical thinking skills & the leadership ability of the cadets.
  5. An expansion of a cadets personal growth.

KFAL will develop and operate leadership development camps on the campus of Bakersfield Community College and/or California State University Bakersfield serving over 400 youth from around Kern County, giving them real opportunities to develop and utilize their leadership skills.

We are self-supporting and raise the majority of our monies by volunteer fundraising and grant applications.
